Introduced for the 1976 model year, the new Jeep CJ-7 featured a wheelbase 10 inches longer than that of the CJ-5 and lacked its trademark rear curve of the door cutouts. The other main difference between CJ-5 and CJ-7 was to the chassis which consisted of two parallel longitudinal main c-section rails. To help improve vehicle handling and stability, the rear section of the chassis stepped out to allow the springs and shock absorbers to be mounted closer to the outside of the body. Underhood is the sturdy 232 CID Inline 6, with its single barrel carb. With the fiberglass body, this CJ7 feels like a lot of weight was lifted off its shoulders, and is plenty peppy! Its the golden eagle edition, looks like original paint, pretty solid overall, has solid floors, bed, rockers, and cab, some rust bubbling on drivers fender and passenger bedside. It looks like original paint. The 360 v8 engine runs and sounds good, has holley fuel injection, flowmaster exuast, power steering, disc brakes, 4x4, heat and air. The interior is new, still needs a headliner. Its a cool and rare old truck.
