very nice 40 knucklehead with matching belly numbers ,nice original xxxx frame , springer, sheet metal ,trans ,primary, wheels, bars are earlier,about 98% complete and oem missing a few parts like the horn and ride control,if I find these they will go with the bike,a couple of parts are repro ,the seat [I believe recovered oem pan]tailight, horn button, tires and grips,motor and trans are rebuilt with 0 miles,great chance to acquire a nice prewar knuckle,getting rarer every day.

The rest of the exhaust is original. I have a 1941 and later clutch and cover assembly on it . I do have the 1940 narrow cover and clutch assembly that can go with it. Runs and rides perfect! I have for sale a rare xxxx harley davidson knucklehead. It is an fl, high compression model which makes it very rare and desirable. Only 174 knuckleheads were made by harley during the war. Next to the xxxx knucklehead, this is the lowest production model harley out there. The bike has been restored by a very good knucklehead expert and has been stored inside a heated space since.

New paint on the frame, tanks, and fenders. Paint is a stock color. Original parts: tanks, fenders, frame, front end, handle bars. Motor has about 20,000 miles on it, and runs very strong. During the restoration I installed a new speedometer, it has 33-miles on it

It has the following original parts, Frame, Fenders, Handlebars, Engine, Dash, Speedo (Corbin) very expensive, springer front end, Horn, Headlight (cycle ray), Primary cover, Tool Box, Seat, Floor boards, Rims and Tires (Firestone), they even seem to be original and from the looks of the wear on the floor boards, it doesn't seem like it was ridin much i reckin'.
