1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 I will be listing a few cars here in the next week ortwo for my family. We had plans to drive and show this caron a regular basis, but sometimes life has other plans, and we have decided tosell it to someone who we hope will give it a good home. The engine starts easyevery time, idles well, makes great power, and sounds great with the dualexhaust. The transmission shifts very well through all the gears. Steers andstops very easy with the Power Steering and Power Brakes. Drives down the roadvery straight with no unusual vibrations, noises, etc. Tires are new from Cokerand have less than 200 miles on them. Very reliable and enjoyable car todrive! Has a nice body and Doors open and shut very well with a nice "thud" and the windowsgo up and down as they should.

Up for auction is my 1955 Oldsmobile Holiday coupe which I purchased 7 years agoin Temecula, CA. At the time I was looking for a nice cruiser that I could driveto car shows and cruises. I did not want a trailer queen but a car that wouldcomfortably handle the freeway speeds here in southern California. After a testdrive I realized I had found the car. The odometer read 56K miles which I wastold was original. I purchased the car. I also have the original Owners Manual, ServicePolicy, Shop Manual and old Polaroid photos of the car when new, one withMrs. After I bought the car I made some safety improvements. I added rackand pinion steering, power disc brakes (front), radial tires, and seat belts. The engine, transmission, and differential are all stock. All the factorygauges, radio, and lights work as they should. All windows are like new and rollup and down easily. The turn signals and vacuum windshield wipers work. TheOldsmobile is garaged nightly. The color, Polar White andGlen Green, is a factory color. There are no dings or dents, and the stainlessand chrome shine like new. The wide white wall tires are almost new with a newspare in the trunk. The upholstery, headliner and seats have no tears, fading orstains.
