Condition is what sets this car apart from the others. California rust free car that has been ground up restored to original. Has an accordian folder stuffed with receipts. The body is laser straight and paint is as smooth as glass. I just walked around the car looking for a flaw in the paint, can't find one! Not a chip, crack or bubble. Far superior to new. Exterior chrome and trim is new or restored. New weatherstrip and window seals. The interior is also very impressive. Interior metal is repainted, all of the chrome sparkles, lenses and gauges are mint. The clock is ticking, it actually works! Interior has been redone to factory specs. Seats are recushioned and firm, has correct gray pinstripe upholstery. New headliner, kick panels, door panels etc. Front and back seatbelts added. Clean trunk with new mat, a jack and spare. Spotless original floors. Mechanics are rebuilt, has receipts. Upgraded to radial white wall tires and turnsignals added. Custom headers and dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers. Also upgraded to power brakes. Dressed up with metal visor, deluxe hubcaps. Spotlight and deluxe hood ornament. Original literature includes the owners manual, the folder it came in and more. Docs prove it lived in california most of its life. Inside and out, it's really impressive! The colors used for the paint are dark and light candy root beer and was applied by james dixon of wise county paint and body. The truck has the right kind of custom touches that are not over the top. This one comes with a custom matching trailer. Custom built for the show circuit is a 4x6 circle s star enclosed trailer. It was painted to match exactly as the truck and is perfect for food and equipment for long haul shows for a weekend away. Here is a 1949 ford f-1 pickup. This classic truck has been fully restored- frame off. It is still equipped with an original flathead v-8 engine tied to the rare original 4 speed manual transmission. Engine was rebuilt in 2012new red oak bed and new chrome bumpers! Wiring and braking system have been replaced. Turn signals, seat belts and brake assist have been added to make it a true and safer show and go vehicle. The electrical system is original 6 volt. There is also a hidden 12 volt dc outlet under the dash for use with 12 volt dc gps, cell phones, disc players, etc. A pertronix electronic ignition kit and coil are included (but not yet installed). Shop manual and operator's manual included in sale. Repainted red exterior in 2016!
