The DB series came from David Brown who was a savior of the Aston Martin name after buying them out, and brought the company back to life. The car has always been serviced at a factory authorized aston dealer. The car comes with all the items that came with the car when new. Aston acknowledges how special this car is by classifying the vanquish s under their “heritage program” which is the designation they use for their most significant and collectible models. Some info on the rare vanquish s model:the 2005 aston martin vanquish s was produced as a true supercar from aston to mark the last of the hand made cars, the last car made at the newport pagnell factory which started with the db4 in 1958. It was the final and last of the cars made all by hand with true fine craftsmanship. Upgrades to the s from a standard vanquish include more power rated at 520 bhp up from 460 bhp in a standard vanquish. Bigger revised grille, front splitter and raised rear spoiler built into the boot lid to keep the car stable at higher speeds. The car also has 20% more direct steering, larger brakes and unique wheels. The vanquish/vanquish s is also the only aston to get a carbon fiber roll bar in the engine bay and a 100% full flat under floor like race cars.
