Bringing back fond childhood memories of one of my favorite movies, smokey & the bandit, is the pontiac firebird trans am. This trans am from the ã¢?? 70ã¢?? S, that has been properly maintained, with only items needing to rebuilt or replaced being attended to and it just has 91211 miles on the odometer, though we cannot verify this to be actual, this ta doesnã¢?? T look to any hard miles put on it. The oldsmobile 403 that many of these t/aã¢?? S had, is the original engine, and still runs strong. The th400 3-speed automatic transmission backs up the 403 to insure performance and reliability. The rear end is a factory posi-trac unit. This is an original factory ac car and the interior looks great and looks to be original as well. Since the car left the factory all those years ago it has only covered 22,426 miles which is absolutely incredible. The front end was restyled in 1979. It also marked the 10th anniversary of the trans am, and a special anniversary package was made available: silver paint with gray upper paint accents and a silver leather interior. The 10th anniversary cars also featured a special firebird hood decal, which extended off the hood and onto the front fenders. Pontiac produced 7,500 10th anniversary cars. This car is really well equipped and in very original condition. There is extensive documentation available with this car to help the purchaser feel comfortable with their investment. One of only 1,817 manufactured with the t-10 4-speed manual transmission, this one may be the nicest around. A full rotisserie restoration was completed with documentation on all purchases from summit racing throughout the process, as well the original factory order sheet and ownerã¢??
