Only major maintenance done on it in the 13 years I've owned it was to rebuild the transmission and replace one window motor. No sag in the doors when open, headliner in perfect shape, glove box and trunk lights work, as well as the air conditioning Air Conditioning

1978 gold pontiac trans am (y88) special edition. Excellent condition inside/out, very well maintained and always garaged. All original equipment except for edelbrock intake manifold and custom dual exhaust. 403 cu in v8, serviced with mobil 1 oil from first oil change. Auto trans, factory air, posi-trac, t-tops, power locks and windows, tilt steering column, power steering, honeycomb wheels. All emblems and decals are original though with some minor fade. Sound system is "clean install and awesome!" have original dealer equipment/accessories list and vehicle build sheet. This is a totally smoke free t/a. Engine,transmission, suspension, interior, are excellent. Brakes (less than 800 miles usage). Exterior paint has minor scratches. This t/a has placed 2nd. Twice at pontiac/firebird shows, starts and drive like new with exhaust notes that are prominent and exciting. It turn heads whenever i drive it on a sunny day! It is a "hard sell" for me as it's my baby and a keeper. Note: original intake manifold and some miscellaneous parts goes with the t/a. Power Locks

Custom adjustable sport seats and a Sony stereo system. it's a highly optioned car - it has everything from air conditioning to t-tops. The original motor was built with 461 stroker kit producing 475 hp and 600 hp. exhaust manifolds, aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb and HEI ignition. Custom Flowmaster exhaust with crossover pipe and splitter tips. Rebuilt original 4 speed. Upgraded Hotchkis sway bars, welded frame connectors and new 17 inch snowflake wheels with G-force tires. Upgraded to 4 wheel disc. This is one of those cars that's cool to look at but the real thrill is driving it!
