1955 Packard Clipper Custom sedan. Excellent condition. Vehicle originally fromWestern United States. Absolutely no rust, rot or plastic filler any where oncar. Sheet metal as solid as day it was built. Although thevehicle is mostly original, fair wear and tear dictates that some featuresrequires replacement due to age. The brake system has had all wheel cylinders,brake hoses and brake lines replaced. Stainless brake lines were used. Newstainless fuel lines with a electric fuel pump to aid in starting after longperiods of storage. Vehicle starts easily with mechanical fuel pump. I DO NOTuse Ethanol gas in this vehicle. in 245 HP V-8 runs strong and quietwith excellent oil pressure. Engine does not smoke. Vehicle has Esamatic Power Brakes, Monroe Power Steering and Vintage AirConditioning which certainly makes it pleasure to drive on hot summer days. Vehicle has torsion level system with all new electrical components. All newbushings upper and lower front support arms. New pin kitsupper and lower support. Easily keeps up with modern traffic. Clock and radio not working. All lights including turn signals and stop lightswork fine. Vehicle has lap belts for front seat passengers. Vehicle wasrepainted and interior reupholstered by previous owner. include Service Manual, Parts Manual, Owners Manual, and originalService Counselors. 12,866 miles i strongly believe it's original! It has the qualities and characteristics of a low mile survivor. Starting underneath- it is amazingly rust free. As dry and clean as i have ever seen. I dont know how to convet how clean the underside is other then i have been under thousands of old cars and this is in the top 10. Zero rot, no patches, just smooth clean metal. The body is clean and straight. Its had a one time exterior repaint that has some patina but presents itself like a mirror. The jambs are clean original with 2 oil change stickers. One was 1965 with 8,562 miles, then 1973 with 8,791. The windshield has a 1968 inspection sticker and is crystal clear, good indicator of low miles. Bright, shiney chrome and trim. Interior is impressive. Steering wheel, gauges entire dash area looks brand new. Non smoked in, ashtrays are spotless. Everything but the clock works. Radio is clear, interior and dash lights work. Upholstery and door panels are mint. #s match straight 8 motor. Clean motor and trunk compartments. I purchased from a man in florida that lived in a gated community and drove this to the country club. It goes down the road smoothly. Auto trans was rare in a 1951 car. This is a great find! Auto trans power antenna seat belts deluxe wheel trim.

This hardtop coupe was in the series of affordable mid-size cars (sedan, coupe and convertible) that ended up being the last of the true packard models ever produced. Not only that, but these cars are also pretty rare with the packard only building 1,031 executive coupes at its state-of-the-art plant in detroit, michigan, and this example is a true survivor just waiting to be added to a collection and be given some love. According to documents that come with the car (a binder full!), this 1956 packard executive was originally purchased in orlando, florida and shipped from the packard plant on june 25, 1956, which just so happened to be the day that the last packard ever produced rolled off the assembly line. The overall quality of this packard's corsican black and dover white paint job shows that this car has aged extremely well, and all of the trim, badges and chrome are still in place.
