Suspension was a conventional short-long arm independent arrangement in front, with Hotchkiss drive in the rear. The trim level of Fairlane 500 model had more decorative trim, such as a wider chrome stripe down the side and three bullets on the rear quarter panels. This is great daily drive AM/FM

The Fairlane name was moved to Ford's new intermediate, introduced for the 1962 model year, to bridge the gap between the compact Ford Falcon and the full-sized Galaxie, making it a competitor for GM's A-body "senior compacts", the Dodge Custom 880, and the AMC Rambler AM/FM
1963 ford fairlane 500 2dr ht, good body and paint, nice new interior, old school mickey thompson mag wheels, v8, auto, aluminum radiator, runs/drives good.
The 260ci V8 starts on the first key turn and sounds healthy like in 1963 when the wagon rolled out of the factory. The color combination looks great and in combination with a recently rechromed bumper, this car is a real head turner. We all agree that a car like this â??63 does not show up often Air Conditioning

The front end was a spitting image of the Galaxie while the rear retained the small tailfins giving it a unique look. The rear end is a sturdy 8.8 with 31 spline axles making it durable enough for this setup Air Conditioning

The color combination looks great and in combination with a recently rechromed bumper, this car is a real head turner. No dirt on the carpet, no rips in the seats or headliner. Everything looks real good. The 260ci v8 starts on the first key turn and sounds healthy like in 1963 when the wagon rolled out of the factory. The transmission shifts smoothly through the gears. It is a pleasure to drive the fairlane down the road. There are no rattles or weird noises. We all agree that a car like this ? 63 does not show up often. It's a great investment with fun guaranteed. Air Conditioning
